Flamed wood mirror

A beautiful wall mirror in gray / white.

We have flamed the wood in an old Japanese technique. But that was not enough. After flaming, the wood was elaborately brushed off. The ash was completely removed and thus the very beautiful structure of the wood came out. After cleaning, the wood was painted white,- but only for a short moment. The paint was partially rubbed off again. This technique is very laborious, but we find the result particularly successful.
