Flamed Wood Dresser Cabinet Black Lounge

Drawer cabinet worked in an elaborate Japanese technique.

In this ancient technique, the wood is strongly charred at up to 1000 degrees on the surface and immediately cooled down again. This creates the typical "crocodile skin " of the wood.

Then the wood must be specially preserved so that the ash solidifies. No smell or black hands are the result.

The special feature of this cabinet is the refelxtion of the light. It is enough even a little light so that the cabinet reacts and puts itself in "scene", simply beautiful. This is difficult to show in the photos. On this cabinet, we painted the inside drawers black and decorated the side drawers with black/gold paper, which matches the gold drawer knobs.

Deep faceted black with gold is a winning color combination that looks classy-beautiful.

Please note the wood is a natural product and will react especially when exposed to high temperatures. This cabinet is fully functional, yet minor deformations are visible. An effect that is quite desirable.
